Beverly Olmstead

Beverly Olmstead plays the piano and is the leader of Jazz In The Morning. She graduated from Baylor University with degrees in math and psychology and from the University of Kentucky with a master's degree in education. While attending Baylor she studied piano with Roger Keyes. Since graduation Beverly has taught high school algebra. Beverly has played the piano for church all her life, having been raised in the Baptist Church. She continues to use her music in church at every opportunity, playing for church services, retreats, conferences and social events.

Beverly is an Elder at First Presbyterian Church, Houston where, in 1993, she formed Jazz In The Morning at the request of the senior pastor, Dr. Vic Pentz. She lives in Houston with her husband, Jay.
